Our Educational Goal

Meedo Redo designs eco-art workshops that explore the properties of salvaged materials, which are collected and curated from many businesses sectors for the purpose of creative reuse. Our programs for children and adults focus on raising awareness for sustainability, re-claiming, re-using, and re-fashioning for children and adults, Our Curriculum covers areas of Engineering, Carpentry, Arts, and Fundamentals of Materials. The courses are given in English and Arabic.

Type of Programs

Sustainable Day Activity

This is a four-hour workshop, which will be ample time for a beginner to learn how to select materials, understand the characteristics of the material, color, shape, and convert it to Art.

Cost: 350 SAR/ Student

Course

This is a month course program, where we gather 2 days a week, for 3 hours per day. The delivery of materials differs according to the age group.

Cost: 2000 SAR/ Student

Mommy & Me Day

A day for 2 hours where mothers can join with their child and experience the art of creating together. Moms' support is unconditional, and we are aiming to embrace it.

Cost: 250 SAR/ Parent & Child

Type of Courses

Fundamentals of Materials

This course offers an exploration of the different reclaimed materials available to students as upcycling artists. Students begin by identifying the different materials available, comparing and contrasting them according to size, shape, color, and texture. Combining this analysis with color theory, students then determine which materials are best for their chosen design and execute their concept as a piece of upcycled art to take home.

Age Group: 7 Years old and above

Basic Carpentry & Tools

Basic carpentry delivers to the student the capability of attaching or detaching objects to make something creative. The course emphasizes the importance of safety, providing training on how to use tools properly, and teaches students how to select the best tools for each job. Students put this knowledge to practice, safely using tools to cut, join, fashion, and finish a carpentry project of their choice.
